Coming from humble origins as solo developers, the team has organically grown over the last few years to 20 talented people from a variety of locations. Main responsibilities

As an experienced 2D/UI Artist with a passion for history to work on our series of WW1-themed

multiplayer first person shooters. You will have experience with designing 2D/UI artwork for in-game or marketing usage and ideally are able to set it up in the Unity project.

Therefore : 

  • You take ownership over UI/UX design of the project
  • You are able to prototype new UI elements quickly and efficiently
  • You work with product managers, developers and artists to oversee the implementation of new features and systems in the UI
  • You analyze feedback and adjust the UI accordingly
  • You optimize UI for performance
  • You make sure the UI works properly on both PC and Console
  • You help estimate and plan production times with production team
  • You create various 2D assets needed for the project (icons, backgrounds, buttons)

Job requirements

Qualifications and expectations: 

  • You have shipped at least 1 commercial title, or extensive experience in personal projects
  • You have Unity UI Experience
  • You are able to create UI designs and other 2D artwork
  • You have an experience in creating/adjusting correct UI prefabs
  • You have an experience with animating UI
  • You have an experience with optimizing UI for performance
  • You read, write and talk excellent English
  • You are available for 24-40 hours per week
  • You are located in Europe (within 2 hours time difference from Amsterdam)

Bonus Skills/Experience:

  • You have an affinity for World War One
  • You have programming knowledge (+ experience working with shaders)
  • You have additional Game-Artist knowledge (Modeling, lightning, texturing)
  • You have video editing knowledge
  • You have an experience in UX design methodologies
