Job description
At Focus Entertainment, our goal is to provide players worldwide with unique experiences.
Our editorial line stands out through innovative concepts, alternative gameplay, and original universes that transcend the boundaries of video games.
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Creative Management, the Brand & Creative Manager serves as the ambassador for the games under their responsibility. As the guardian and creator of the communication strategy for Focus Entertainment's catalog titles, they also bring their expertise and market knowledge to the Production and Acquisition teams.
The Brand & Creative Manager is the go-to game expert within the Marketing team. In direct contact with various departments (Community Management, PR, Advertising, Production, Acquisition, Creative, Data), they are responsible for ensuring a unified understanding of key communication messages and promoting the project vision both internally and externally.
1 - COMMUNICATION & EDITORIAL STRATEGY
Develop Marketing Creative Guidelines based on in-depth project analysis (SWOT, competitive analysis, positioning, target audiences, key messages, etc.).
Design an editorial strategy and communication plan derived from the Marketing Creative Guidelines.
Write briefs and oversee the production of marketing visual and textual assets for assigned projects (key art, logo, trailers, PR materials, website, B-roll, etc.).
Produce key marketing textual assets (trailer scripts, articles, metadata, back-of-box copy, etc.).
Monitor the deployment of assets by marketing teams (Community Management, PR, Advertising, etc.).
Collaborate with Production teams (Line and Content) to monitor game development, anticipate challenges, and provide solutions for the project's editorial and marketing needs.
Provide input on budget strategy development.
Conduct benchmarks and competitive analysis of industry trends for the Marketing team's internal use.
Represent the game as its ambassador during events, presenting it to partners and the press.
Maintain trusted relationships and coordinate with external partners (rights holders, studios, agencies, etc.) as their main point of contact.
Report on marketing activities to the studio and internal teams.
2 - ACQUISITION RESPONSIBILITIES
At the request of the Acquisition team and the Head of Brand & Creative Management:
Produce analysis documents during the Acquisition phase (competition mapping, SWOT, marketing, and editorial analysis).
Provide editorial, marketing, and strategic insights during meetings, discussions, and decisions regarding projects under evaluation.
Job requirements
What we expect of you:
Initial experience as a Project Manager/Brand Manager/Marketing Product Manager, ideally in the video games sector.
5 years' higher education or equivalent: Marketing Project Management, Business School or equivalent.
