Reporting to our Content Director, you will lead a team of LD responsible for guiding, advising, challenging our internal development studios/partners on all aspects related to content and design.

Our editorial line stands out with innovative concepts, alternative gameplays, and original universes that push the traditional boundaries of video games.

In close collaboration with the Content Director, you will coordinate the management of a defined portfolio of projects within their team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and managing a team of Line Designers, guiding them in overseeing ongoing development projects

  • Supporting teams in realizing their vision and setting clear objectives throughout the development process

  • Clearly defining publisher expectations and ensuring projects are built on solid foundations

  • Supervising, evaluating, advising, and developing the expertise of Line Designers

  • Assisting in setting priorities and providing solutions to development teams for each Line Designer

  • Acting as a mediator with studios when specific issues cannot be resolved by your team

  • Acting as a liaison with various Focus departments (marketing, business, etc.)

  • Contributing to team dynamics and ensuring good collaboration between your team and other departments

  • Organizing and facilitating information exchanges among all internal and external stakeholders

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop relationships and promote communication and collaboration with development teams

  • Organize and supervise the use of external consultants to provide specialized expertise

  • Participate in industry events to meet and develop relationships with consultants and partners, and stay informed about the latest trends

Job requirements

What we expect:

  • Degree in Game Design (or equivalent) at Bac +5 level

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in game design, including 2 years in management (ideally as Lead GD)

  • Experience working on games of various scopes, preferably in a publishing context

  • Solid expertise in game design and level design

  • Good understanding of production processes

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Professional proficiency in English (C1 level required)

  • Position: Full-time, permanent contract (CDI) – Available immediately

  • Location: Paris 19, Metro 7 (Corentin Cariou) / RER E (Rosa Parks)

  • Remote work: 2 days per week

  • Profit-sharing agreement

  • Occasional international travel
