Looking for a Community Developer, part of the marketing team, is integrated into project teams and serves as the primary bridge between Development & Publisher teams and the player community.

The Community Developer, part of the marketing team, is integrated into project teams and serves as the primary bridge between Development & Publisher teams and the player community. They are responsible for engaging and managing online communities, as well as fostering a strong relationship between community ambassadors/key opinion leaders and development team to build the best in-game experience possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a primary representative for community’s aspirations & feedback within Marketing & Production teams to positively influence development and communications positioning, on behalf of our players and business objectives.
Define, organize, and manage the project's community programs.
Support internal & external milestones, such as Alphas, betas and launches, to ensure KPIs are met and to advocate for the player experience. Recruit players, organize events, gather & analyze feedback.
Collaborate and coordinate with production teams for post-launch communication. Support players with technical issues and set expectations on applicable situations such as patch content, status, and delivery.
Identify and build relationship with community ambassadors /most engaged players within your community and develop events (either online or offline) with them such as playtests, discussions with developers, etc...
Communicate the product vision to players and represent the community's voice to the development team to express player's needs.
Develop and execute community strategic plans through a variety of content tactics, which support Production objectives and augment the overall marketing strategy.
Act as one of the spokespersons for the assigned brand(s).
Manage editorial content across social channels, working to improve player sentiment and retention (example: blogs, podcasts, interviews, AMA, briefs of visual assets & more).
Gather community insights and feedback to inform product and marketing strategies through internal reports on community sentiment, activity & expectations.
Work closely with the Social Media Manager of each assigned project to ensure alignment and consistency.
Participate in transversal social media activities by contributing to brainstorming sessions and supporting the development of broader strategic social media projects.
Job requirements
What we expect of you :
Senior experience/4 years+ in community development
Extensive experience in the gaming industry
Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.)
Experience working in a Production/studio environment, with multiple deadlines, metrics for success, and stakeholders.
Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to filter and implement player feedback.
Mastering English is required (mother language or fluent speaking and writing).
Having launched a competitive multiplayer game title with multiple live phases is a strong plus.
