PulluP Entertainment, building on the foundations and DNA of its historic entity Focus Entertainment, aims to bring together the expertise of a collective of globally recognized creative talents in video game publishing and original content creation, under a powerful and inspiring brand.

As part of its strong growth, PulluP is seeking a Data Engineer to strengthen the group's data engineering team.

• Build Project / Workflow Data: Implementation and optimization of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to collect, process, and analyze data from various sources (in-game massive data, sales data, marketing, social media data).

• Maintenance in Operational Condition: Proficiency in our Databricks environment, modeling, job optimization, cluster management, continuous monitoring of the lakehouse.

• Data Modeling & Data Quality: Creation of relevant data models, ensuring data quality and reliability, to enable our Game Analysts, Business Analysts, and business teams to derive the best insights for decision-making.

• Data Engineering Innovation: Collaboration with the team's Research Engineers to explore new approaches in AI/Machine Learning (preferably in Databricks), to develop innovative POCs for the Publishing business or group studios, and facilitate their potential industrialization.

• CI/CD Methodologies: Utilization of Azure DevOps and Terraform for quality deployments (Git, Terraform, Infra as Code).

• What is expected of you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data, or equivalent.

• Between 3 and 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with significant achievements in dealing with complex data issues.

Skills required for the role:

• Mastery of the main data frameworks: Spark, Apache Arrow, pandas, Apache Kafka, Delta Format, Iceberg, Spark-Structured Streaming

• Knowledge of the use and configuration of one or more cloud platforms. Advanced experience in Azure is appreciated.

• Professional proficiency in English

Appreciated:

• Knowledge of an in-game tracking system (ideally Playfab)

• Knowledge of MLFlow/ML Engineering

• Use of Databricks

• Familiarity with data modeling (Kimball, Entity-relationship/Merise, or Data Vault)
