As a Market Researcher, you will assist the Market Insight Director and play a key role in helping our teams and partners better understand the marketability of our games.  

By delivering data-driven insights, you will reduce business risks and help identify opportunities and threats for the projects of the PulluP Entertainment group.  

With the support of the Data Team (including Data Analysts and Data Scientists), you will operate internal or external tools and conduct studies to support decision-making across marketing, production, and business. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

1 - Conducting consumer & market studies: 

In close collaboration with the Production and Marketing teams, you will carry out in-depth analyses of our upcoming titles.  

  • This includes gathering insights on player expectations, positioning, market trends, and pricing strategies. 

  • You will be responsible for presenting your findings to project teams, developers, and external partners. 

  • You’ll also be continuously updating your research throughout the game's development lifecycle 

  • Depending on project needs, you will frame and execute consumer research initiatives, including surveys, polls, and focus groups, with the possible help of external partners 

 

2- Providing strategic market insights

  • You will be responsible for monitoring trends within the video game industry (platforms, genres, and business models…) and deliver your insights through regular updates to the group / top management 

  • By analyzing market revenues and forecasts, you will produce clear and concise reports and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making at the top management level. 

  • Additionally, you will benchmark competing titles and emerging genres to deliver relevant and timely insights to teams across the entire group. 

 

Job requirements

What we expect from you

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Market Research or a related field. 

  • Previous experience in the video game industry or in market research. 

Skills: 

  • Experience in framing quantitative or qualitative studies in the field of video gaming and capacity to analyze outputs from both  

  • A solid understanding of how the video game industry operates and the challenges it faces 

  • Experience with working with Market Research service providers (IPSOS, Interpret, Solsten, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with SAS solutions such as those by Newzoo, Circana etc.  

  • Familiarity with a toolkit designed to analyze quantitative data - interest in data science is a plus. 

  • Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint. 

  • Fluency in English

Additional Information

  • Contract: Permanent position (CDI) to be filled ASAP

  • Location: Paris 19ᵉ – Metro Line 7 (Corentin Cariou) / RER E (Rosa Parks)

  • Remote work: 2 days per week

  • Profit-sharing agreement
