As a General and Client Accountant, you will work closely with the Group General Accounting Manager.
Your main tasks will be (non-exhaustive list):

1- For the client accounting of one or more subsidiaries, you will be responsible for the following non-exhaustive list of tasks:

  • Allocation of customer payments received
  • Follow-up of receivables and customer accounts: establishment of a follow-up file in order to
  • identify, with the Business, the reminders to be made, lettering of accounts, etc.
  • Analysis of customer accounts: Identification of doubtful debts
  • Monthly closing of the customer cycle

    2- For the general accounts of one or more subsidiaries, you will be responsible for the following non-exhaustive list of tasks:
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping and monitoring, excluding accounts payable
  • Daily monitoring of banking flows in direct communication with the Group Treasurer (data entry and bank reconciliation)
  • Preparation of tax returns (VAT, corporation tax, etc.)
  • Integration of payroll ODs, analysis and monitoring of HR balance sheet accounts
  • Drawing up monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (cut-off, justification of balance sheet items, analysis of changes in P&L)
  • Review of accounts of outsourced subsidiaries in France and abroad, exchanges with subsidiaries

Job requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing or DSCG.
  • You have at least 2 years' experience as a general accountant in an international environment or ideally in a accounting firm.
  • You are familiar with French GAAP accounting rules, social and tax regulations and French legislation
  • You have a good command of the standard Excel functions (intermediate level - several formulas)
  • English (written/oral - emails and external exchanges)
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable, ideally with previous experience of this system

  • Teleworking: 2 days a week
