You will be the legal reference for our subsidiary DOTEMU, handling all legal matters related to its publishing and development activities (excluding labor law and compliance).

The PULLUP ENTERTAINMENT group, built on the DNA of FOCUS ENTERTAINMENT, brings together globally recognized creative talents in the publishing and creation of original content in the video game industry. Reporting to the Group Legal Director, you will be the legal reference for our subsidiary DOTEMU, handling all legal matters related to its publishing and development activities (excluding labor law and compliance).

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, negotiating, validating, and monitoring contracts in French and English: game publishing and development contracts, co-production, licensing, IP rights transfer, porting, distribution, marketing, services, NDA, etc.

  • Securing the contractual chain, particularly on aspects related to intellectual property: copyright, neighboring rights, trademarks...

  • Providing legal advice to operational teams on business law, consumer law, and intellectual property matters.

  • Legal awareness: conducting internal training sessions and implementing processes tailored to the group's activities.

  • Participating in harmonizing legal tools and processes at the group level:

    • standard contracts,

    • tracking tables,

    • FAQs,

    • Document Management Tools (CLM)...

  • Continuous legal monitoring of legislative, regulatory, case law developments, as well as sector best practices.

Job requirements

What is expected of you:

  • Minimum Bac +5 degree in business law, international contract law, or intellectual property.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a law firm or company, ideally in the video game, publishing, or entertainment industry, in an international context.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong skills in legal writing and contract negotiation in French and English.

  • Understanding of intellectual property issues in the creative industry.

Additional Information:

  • Position: CDD - 6 month - SEPTEMBER

  • Location: Paris 19, Metro 7 (Corentin Cariou) / RER E (Rosa Parks)

  • Remote work: 2 days per week

  • Participation agreement.

  • 50% coverage of the SWILE card and transportation pass.

  • 80% coverage of health insurance (remaining cost of 16.61 euros).
