Under the supervision of the Line Production Director, the Executive Producer manages, supervises, and supports a team of Line Producers and Associate Line Producers.

They are responsible for a portfolio of projects and ensure their smooth progress, quality, and seek ways to improve them according to Focus processes in place.

  • Participate in defining the strategy of the projects being followed

  • Overall monitoring of project progress (strategy, quality, planning, and budget)

  • Team management:

    • Task/objective assignment and follow-up

    • Work evaluation

    • Support, advice, and guidance

    • Skill development

  • Coordination with other departments (marketing, business, legal, etc.)

  • Reporting to top management

The Executive Producer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Decision-maker on project gates in connection with marketing, finance, and business vision

  • Ensure that Focus processes/tools and methodologies are known and applied

  • Ensure that project-related information is updated and disseminated internally through available tools and reports, with the help of project teams

  • Propose the implementation of new processes/tools or improvements to existing processes/tools

  • Act as the point of contact for top management regarding projects

  • Mediate with studios when specific issues cannot be resolved by the team

  • Mediate with different Focus departments (marketing, business, editorial...)

  • Participate in the recruitment process for the Line Production team (candidate selection, test evaluation, interviews)

  • Coordinate the project team to gain a good overview of the project and help them step back

  • Test games, provide high-level feedback to the team, address global issues that should be tackled

  • Help the team anticipate potential risks and make the best decisions to maintain defined objectives in terms of quality, time, and budget

  • Provide concise reports to top management

  • Participate in the acquisition process

  • Ensure good collaboration between the supervised team and other departments

  • Identify blockers and issues and propose solutions

  • Evaluate the work of the supervised team and provide advice to enhance performance

Job requirements

  • Holder of a master's degree (school, university or equivalent)

  • More than 10 years of experience in video game production at a development studio and/or publisher

  • Successful experience in team management (monitoring, control, motivation, skills development) and planning

  • Mastery of production processes (from concept to post-launch)

  • Knowledge of video game professions and domains, enabling recommendations to improve project quality and management

  • Diplomatic, pedagogical, and a leader with internal or external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in office tools: Excel / Google Sheets / Word / Google Docs / Powerpoint / Google Slides

  • Ideally, have artistic (3D rendering, animation, lighting...), technical (code, game engine...), and/or design skills (game design, level design, UI, UX...)

  • Position: Permanent contract available as soon as possible

  • Remote work: 2 days per week
