Reporting to the Group Controlling Director, you will join the Group Controlling team and contribute both to the main publishing entity, Focus Entertainment, and to the consolidated vision of the Pullup Group.

Your responsabilities:

  • Publishing activities monitoring (Focus Entertainment)

    • Monthly recognition of revenue and margin per game.

    • Close collaboration with financial controllers, sales teams, and accounting to determine provisions (revenue, royalties, production and marketing costs).

    • Ensuring compliance with closing deadlines and external reporting requirements (listed group with quarterly revenue publications).

    • Monitoring of live titles, new game launches, additional content (DLC), and specific commercial operations, while working closely with business teams and mastering their management data.

  • Royalty management

    • Production and control of royalty reports sent to development studios.

    • Acting as a backup to the Royalty Officer to ensure process continuity, data quality, completeness, and adherence to deadlines on a key process for relations with partner studios.

  • Budgeting and forecasting

    • Contribution to budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for revenue and margin per game.

    • Analysis and monitoring of operating expenses and payroll, both for the publishing activity and for the holding (support functions).

    • Supporting the dissemination of a cost-control culture within the support departments.

  • Group consolidation

    • Participation in the monthly consolidation process of the Pullup Group (around 15 entities in France and abroad).

    • Ensuring reliable and timely reporting of management information.

    • Controlling and analyzing data across several entities and contributing to the animation of the Group Finance community.

  • Continuous improvement & projects

    • Contributing to the optimization of closing processes and suggesting tool enhancements to improve reliability, automation, and timelines.

    • Taking part in finance transformation projects, including the implementation of a new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) reporting tool within the Group.

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • Master’s degree (Master 2) in Management Control or Audit, with 2 to 4 years of successful experience in a corporate environment (group or mid-sized company), or a significant experience in an audit/financial audit firm.

  • Comfortable with numbers, you know how to analyze, anticipate, and translate financial data into clear insights for decision-making.

  • Reading a P&L and a balance sheet is part of your skill set, and you are able to identify performance and optimization drivers.

  • You are proficient in Excel and Power Query, and eager to develop or strengthen your knowledge of SAP By Design, Power BI, and an EPM tool.

Additional information

  • Position: Permanent contract (1 year renewable), to be filled ASAP

  • Location: Paris 19th – Metro line 7 (Corentin Cariou) / RER E (Rosa Parks)

  • Remote work: 2 days per week
